We have secured a block of rooms at the Grand Hyatt Nashville over the meeting dates of September 8-10, 2023 at our discounted group meeting rate of $319/night (plus applicable taxes). This discounted hotel meeting rate of $319/night (plus applicable taxes) is available for reservations arriving within 3 days prior and leaving within 3 days after the meeting subject to availability at the time of your booking. Please note: the MOD Live meeting dates are Friday, September 8 – Sunday, September 10, 2023.

All individual rooms require a one night advance payment at the time of booking secured by a major credit card. Your reservation and any modifications must be received by Tuesday, August 8, 2023. After this date, the hotel will release all remaining rooms for general sale and is no longer obligated to honor our group meeting rate. The hotel will determine if it can accept any further reservations based on a space- and rate-available basis at the group meeting rate.
Individuals may cancel their reservation without penalty prior to Wednesday, August 9, 2023. All reservations are non-cancelable on or after Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Any cancelations on or after August 9, 2023 or no-shows will result in the forfeit of the individual's advance deposit along with the remaining cost of the entire reservation which will be charged to the individual's credit card on file.
MOD Live would like to extend an invitation to current optometry students, residents, and optometrists in their first 3 years of practice to attend this unique meeting being held in Nashville from September 8-10, 2023. To facilitate this educational opportunity, MOD Live is offering support to applicants who qualify and submit an original case report to the MOD Live Scholarship Program by June 30, 2023. A total of 10 spots are available.

Limited support opportunities are available for individuals who qualify and will be awarded to the top 10 applicants, as determined by the MOD Live Program Chairs. Please note, you must be in optometry school, residency, or within your first 3 years of practice at the time of the MOD Live meeting (September 2023) to qualify.
Each applicant who is awarded support will receive 2 nights’ hotel accommodations*, complimentary registration, and a $400 stipend toward travel expenses. The foregoing support will be awarded to the first 10 applicants who successfully complete and accept the terms of the MOD Live! Scholarship Program application below.
Please note, hotel accommodations will be made by MOD Live. These hotel nights are only valid at the Grand Hyatt Nashville on the nights of September 8 & 9, 2023 and are not transferable to another hotel nor may they be redeemed for any cash value.
In order to apply for support, you are required to complete and accept the terms of the MOD Live Scholarship Program as follows:
All applicants will be acknowledged in the MOD Live meeting app.
For case report submission, all that is required is the text inputted in the fields below.
All scholarship recipients must agree to attend all sessions and events of the meeting, including the wet lab sessions. Your attendance will be recorded, and failure to attend all sessions will result in the forfeiture of your travel stipend support in the amount of $400, along with the cost of your 2-night hotel stay, which will be charged to your credit card. The $400 travel stipend support check will be distributed within 60 days of the program if all requirements for participation are met.
Meeting feedback via the MOD Live meeting app is appreciated by applicants in attendance.
The MOD Live Scholarship Program deadline is June 30 or until all available support packages are awarded, whichever occurs first.
